What is Rolliance?
Rolliance is studio-management software built specifically for martial arts schools. It handles class scheduling, attendance and check-in, belt and rank progression, member billing, a studio store, messaging, and a member portal — all in one place — so you can spend less time on admin and more time building your community on the mat.
What martial arts does Rolliance work with?
Any of them. Your belt and rank system is fully customizable per studio — define your own belts, colors, stripes, degrees, and promotion order. You can start from a pre-built template for common arts like Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, or karate, or build a completely custom progression, and run separate rank systems for different programs such as kids and adults.
How much does Rolliance cost?
Pricing is based on the size of your studio, with three plans: Core (up to 50 members), Growth (up to 150 members), and Unlimited. Every plan includes every feature — there are no feature gates or upsells; the only difference is your member limit. You can pay monthly or save with annual billing. Is there a free trial?
Yes — every new studio starts with a 30-day free trial with full access to every feature. You won't be charged during the trial, and you can cancel anytime before it ends at no cost.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
Yes. We collect a card when you set up your studio so your account continues seamlessly if you decide to stay, but you are not charged until the 30-day trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you won't pay anything.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts or commitments — you can cancel from your billing settings at any time, and you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Can I import my existing members?
Yes. You can bulk-import your roster from a CSV file, including names, contact info, dates of birth, emergency contacts, addresses, uniform sizes, family and child relationships, and join dates. You can even carry over each member's historical class count, so attendance milestones don't reset when you switch.
Can I switch to Rolliance from another platform like Spark Memberships?
Yes. Rolliance has a dedicated importer for Spark Memberships exports, plus a flexible CSV importer that works with exports from most other platforms. Members are staged for your review before any invitations go out, so you stay in control of the migration.
How long does it take to get set up?
Most studios are up and running quickly: create your account, import your members from CSV, and set up your class schedule and rank system. Pre-built rank templates and bulk member import mean you don't have to build everything from scratch.
Do my members need to download an app?
No. Members get their own portal that works in any web browser on their phone, tablet, or computer — there's nothing to download from an app store. They can view the schedule, enroll in classes, track their rank and achievements, message instructors, and shop your store, all from the web.
How do members check in for class?
Members check in by scanning a barcode at a self-service kiosk — using either a printed member card or the barcode on their phone. Staff can also check members in from the class roster, and you can turn on automatic check-in when members enroll. The kiosk detects the current class and handles back-to-back or concurrent classes automatically.
Can Rolliance handle billing and payments for my studio?
Yes. You can sell recurring memberships, class packs, drop-ins, and merchandise from your studio store, with credit tracking and discount codes built in. Payments are processed securely through Stripe and paid out directly to your own connected Stripe account.
Does Rolliance track belt ranks and promotions?
Yes. Define your own belt system and rank requirements, set promotion gates based on attendance and time-in-rank, and let members see exactly what they need for their next promotion. An automatic achievement system and a member trophy case reward milestones and keep students motivated.
Can I keep my members engaged between classes?
Yes. Members get a private training journal to log and reflect on their sessions between classes, plus direct messaging with instructors, studio-wide announcements, and bulk email campaigns with scheduling and one-click unsubscribe. A live studio feed broadcasts wins — new belts, streaks, achievements — so your whole community celebrates together.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text, and card details are handled directly by Stripe — we never store your or your members' card numbers. Studio owners, members, and staff each have separate, role-based access to your studio.
