ROLLIANCE MEMBER TERMS OF USE

1. Overview

These Member Terms of Use ("Member Terms") supplement the Rolliance Platform Terms of Service and govern your use of the Rolliance platform ("Platform") as a studio member ("Member," "you"). By creating a Member account or accepting an invitation from a Studio Owner, you agree to these Member Terms, the Platform Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy.

2. Account Creation

2.1 Invitation and Registration

Member accounts are created through invitation by a Studio Owner or through self-registration when joining a Studio. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

2.2 Studio-Scoped Membership

Your membership is associated with a specific Studio. If you leave a Studio, your account data (including class history, attendance records, and achievements) will be retained within the Studio for the Studio Owner's records and analytics, but you will no longer have access to that Studio's features or Content.

2.3 Multiple Studios

You may be a Member of multiple Studios. Your data in each Studio is independent and is not shared between Studios.

3. Dependent Accounts

3.1 Managing Dependents

If you are a parent or legal guardian, you may create and manage Dependent accounts for minors under 18. By creating a Dependent account, you agree to these Member Terms on behalf of the Dependent, consent to the collection and use of the Dependent's information as described in the Privacy Policy, and accept responsibility for all activity conducted through the Dependent account.

3.2 Account Graduation

When a Dependent reaches the age of 18, they may request to convert their Dependent account to an independent Member account. The graduating Member will need to agree to these Member Terms and the Platform Terms of Service independently.

4. Payments and Billing

4.1 Billing Relationship

Payments for memberships, classes, products, and services are made directly to the Studio Owner through Stripe Connect. Highgate Studios facilitates payment processing but is not a party to transactions between you and the Studio Owner.

4.2 Refunds and Disputes

Refund and cancellation policies are set by each Studio Owner. For billing disputes, contact your Studio Owner directly. If you are unable to resolve a dispute with the Studio Owner, you may contact Stripe or your payment card issuer.

4.3 Stripe

Payment processing is provided by Stripe. By submitting payment information, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

5. Social Features and Content

5.1 Comments and Reactions

The Platform may allow you to post comments and emoji reactions on studio activities and member achievements, subject to the Studio Owner enabling these features. All social Content is visible to other Members of the same Studio, the Studio Owner, and authorized staff.

5.2 Class Notes

You may create notes on classes you have signed up for. Please be aware that notes marked as private are visible to the Studio Owner and authorized staff (administrators and instructors) for operational purposes. Truly personal notes that you do not wish to share should be stored outside the Platform.

5.3 Content Moderation

Studio Owners have the ability to moderate, disable, or delete Comments and social features within their Studio. Highgate Studios does not actively moderate Member Content but reserves the right to remove Content that violates the Platform Terms of Service.

6. Member Data and Privacy

6.1 Information Sharing

Information you provide (including emergency contacts, uniform sizes, and similar data) is accessible to the Studio Owner and their authorized staff for studio management purposes. Your personal data is not shared with other Members.

6.2 Studio Owner Access

Studio Owners and their staff may view your attendance records, class history, ranking and achievement data, payment history with that Studio, and any notes associated with your account (including notes you mark as private). Studio Owners may also create private notes on your profile that are not visible to you.

6.3 Data Export

Studio Owners may export Member data from the Platform. By joining a Studio, you acknowledge and consent to this capability.

7. Achievements and Rankings

The Platform may display your belt rank, achievements, and other progress indicators within the Studio. This information is managed by the Studio Owner and is visible to other Members of the same Studio. If you have concerns about the accuracy of your ranking or achievement data, contact your Studio Owner.

8. Termination

8.1 Leaving a Studio

You may leave a Studio at any time. Upon leaving, you will lose access to that Studio's classes, Content, and features. Your historical data will be retained by the Studio as described in Section 2.2.

8.2 Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Member account by contacting [email protected]. Account deletion will remove your access to all Studios. Historical data retained by Studios for their operational records may persist in accordance with the Studio Owner's data retention obligations.
